Omar Rios, LMT, Yoga Instructor R.Y.T has been a resident of Austin, Texas since 1994. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Omar came to Austin to attend the University of Texas and has served as a Paramedic with Austin/Travis County EMS for the last eight years. He ventured into holistic health care by becoming a massage therapist two years ago and graduated from The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School. Omar has developed a dedicated yoga practice for over two years and has been a yoga instructor for the last year. He believes strongly in the power of movement and touch and knows that holistic treatment modalities can be a powerful tool in improving peoples’ health and well being and strengthening our community as a whole.
